Privacy Policy

This notice covers Nexus Recovery Coach (Home Screen name: Nexus Coach) at app.nexushealthtools.com and its installed web-app version, offered by Nexus Health Tools. It is separate from our online store and the Nexus Health Tools Publisher application.

Your progress, on your device
The app stores your optional name, products and goals, discomfort ratings and notes, session history and streaks, favorites, saved combinations, unfinished routine/check-in, preferences and wellness acknowledgement in this browser’s local storage. It uses these records to display routines and progress. This version does not automatically upload them to an account, cloud backup, mailing list or advertising service. There is no account or automatic cross-device sync.
Anyone with access to the same device and browser profile may be able to view these records. Your name is a display preference, not a login. Use device security and avoid sensitive notes on shared devices. Local storage and exported backups are not an app-managed encrypted medical-record vault.
Hosting and video playback
The app and short demonstrations are hosted on Railway. Loading them sends connection information, such as your IP address, browser information and requested page or file, to hosting infrastructure. Exercise requests can reveal content you accessed even though your entered ratings and notes are not uploaded. Hosting and security providers may retain operational logs under their own arrangements; the counter retention below does not describe all provider logs.
App resources and demonstrations you choose to save are stored in the browser’s cache. Installation does not download the whole video library. Storage limits, clearing data or removing the app can make saved content unavailable.
Full-length protocols use YouTube. Its embedded player loads only after you choose Play. Privacy-enhanced embedding does not make playback anonymous: YouTube receives connection and playback information under Google’s Privacy Policy. External video, store and review links connect to those providers. Store links carry fixed campaign tags, not your name, ratings, notes, body selections or saved-routine names.
Optional feature counts
Measurement is off by default. If enabled, the app sends allowlisted feature-event names, such as saving a session or offline download, to its own server. Event payloads contain no name, email, rating, note, exercise/body area, saved-routine name or user identifier. Connection metadata remains visible to receiving infrastructure.
The counter service stores daily event totals, not individual event records. On new activity, it removes count files older than 90 days. Return-use markers remain on your device. Switch measurement off in Settings; Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control prevent event transmission. Existing aggregate totals cannot be attributed back to you by the counter service. This choice is not marketing permission.
Backups, deletion and retention
Device-local records remain until you erase them or your browser/device removes them. Settings provides export, restore and local-progress erasure. Exports are plain JSON files that may include ratings and notes. Store them somewhere you trust and share them carefully. Restoring reads a file on your device and replaces progress; it does not merge histories or upload the file. Video downloads are separate from backups.
Erasing local progress does not erase exported files, shared copies, provider logs or calendar entries. Remove saved videos separately in Settings. Switching browsers, phones, addresses or browser/install contexts does not automatically transfer progress. We have no server copy of your locally entered records to recover for you.
Calendar reminders
The reminder creates a calendar file on your device, not app push notifications, email or SMS. You choose whether to import it. Your calendar provider may store or sync it under its own settings and policy. Edit or remove imported reminders in that calendar; changing the app’s time field does not update an existing event.
Your choices and privacy requests
Manage local records and measurement in Settings. For information we actually hold, contact support@nexushealthtools.com to request access, a copy, correction or deletion, or to withdraw consent where applicable. Rights depend on your location and applicable law. We may need proportionate information to verify a request; do not send a sensitive backup in ordinary email. We cannot access or remotely delete your device-local progress. Our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explains health-data requests and appeals.
Purchases and activity on nexushealthtools.com are covered by the website Privacy Policy. Its advertising, payment and Publisher-app descriptions do not mean Coach collects the same information. Coach does not automatically enroll you in marketing or use advertising pixels. New email backup, sync, advertising or other uses need updated disclosures and any required separate choice before they begin.
Audience, contact and updates
Coach is intended for adults 18 and older, consistent with our website Terms of Service. It is not designed for children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information to us.
